The Turbosmart - Kompact Dual Port BOV - -3AN - 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / 04+ STi & 2006-2007 Forester XT allows for both atmospheric and air intake venting. With sequential timing, it provides a quieter operation during normal driving while still maintaining the performance and sound of a vent-to-atmosphere BOV for more intense driving. Unlike the standard plastic blow-off valves found in these cars, the Kompact features a highly durable machined billet construction. The standard valves often fail to eliminate damaging compressor surge and can become brittle and crack over time, causing boost leaks and limiting the turbo's full potential.
