Description

Perrin Performance - Gurney Flap - 09-14 Subaru WRX Hatchback / 08-14 STi Hatchback

The Perrin Gurney Flap adds aggressive styling to your trunk spoiler. Without looking too intrusive, the Gurney flap modification adds a small amount of height to your existing spoiler for a clean, clearly modified look. The Gurney Flap is a small tab projecting from the trailing edge of a wing. Typically it is set at a right angle to the pressure side surface of the airfoil, and projects 1% to 2% of the wing chord. This trailing edge device can improve the performance of a simple airfoil to nearly the same level as a complex high-performance design.

The Perrin Gurney Flap is mounted to the rear wing by drilling holes and bolting on. Other gurney flaps mount with double-sided tape and advertise an equally strong attachment. The Perrin Gurney Flap will be secured much better with its bolts than a wing with tape for much greater peace of mind.
