Generation 6 models benefit from an upgraded jetting assembly. In previous generations the orifice bleed holes were hand drilled. Generation 6 bleed holes are now CNC machined allowing for more consistent damping adjustments between shocks. Furthermore flow of the orifice bleed holes has increased and a re-designed jetting assembly is used, this yields a 35% increase in damping force adjustment. Providing the user with a shock that has more performance and adjustability.

Research on the racetrack has helped us develop the Fortune Auto 500 Series into a great all-around shock absorber. Using high quality components that meet our strict standards allows us to optimize comfort, reliability, and longevity.
Occasional Track Use
Digressive piston technology allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e. high speed bumps) the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control.
Revised jetting and increased adjustment range for more accurate damper control. Every click in the adjustment range has a very profound effect on damping force, and each click is very audible and distinct.
ROBUST PISTON SHAFTS
The delicate science behind the strength of piston shafts can be difficult to perfect. Through extensive research and development, we were able to achieve an optimal balance between shaft hardness and malleability to ensure peak safety and performance.
BRIGHT DIP ANODIZED
Bright dip anodizing is a chemical polishing/anodizing process that is very effective in enhancing the integrity of the aluminum. Bright dipping creates a brilliant, shiny surface which protects our 6061 forged aluminum parts from corrosion and oxidation, ensuring that your parts look great for years to come.
Utilizing our engineers’ in-house design software, we reinforced brackets and mounting points for more rigidity and strength. Most applications will include OEM brake line tabs welded directly to the lower mounts, which provides the end user with a cleaner and safer installation.
Digressive piston technology allows for tremendous amounts of low speed force that translates driver inputs into razor sharp control. Furthermore, the force “blows off” to provide the driver with a supple compliant ride while maintaining superior mechanical grip over rough surfaces.
DYNO-TUNED AND TESTED
EVERY Fortune Auto shock absorber is dyno-tested. Once your shock absorbers are built, they are tested and matched, because we refuse to treat our shocks with a “one size fits all” mentality.

500 Series Coilovers are custom, hand-built to order. Most applications have a 2-3 week lead time. Lead times for certain applications and peak season orders may vary.
